2022 United Airlines NYC Half

The United Airlines NYC Half is back and ready to take you through 13.1 miles of New York City streets on Sunday, March 20, 2022. With St Patrick's day on Thursday before the NYC Half Weekend, this is a great opportunity to combine these two iconic New York experiences.

Guaranteed Entry with Manhattan Hotel

This is a sell-out event but Guaranteed entry is available with the purchase of a “Half-Marathon Travel Package” from Destination Sport Experiences. We offer 3, 4 or 5 nights at our Manhattan hotel. We are an official New York Half International Tour Operator for the UK. Our packages with guaranteed entry are open to anyone apart from US residents.

The 2022 NYC Half

From Brooklyn to Central Park, the 2022 NYC Half takes you on a wonderful journey through New York. The race will begin in Brooklyn near Prospect Park before taking runners across the East River via the Manhattan Bridge. Once in Manhattan, runners will race along the Lower East Side, up to Midtown, and through Times Square before finishing in Central Park.
Runners will begin their journey on Prospect Park’s Center Drive before taking the race onto Brooklyn’s streets. The course will take runners over the Manhattan Bridge and up the FDR Drive before a crosstown dash on 42nd Street and a turn north on 7th Avenue, through Times Square, and into Central Park. This year’s less hilly Central Park route finishes just north of Tavern on the Green and will feature a shorter post-race walk-off for runners to exit the park and start their celebrations.

Saint Patrick's day in New York City

The Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in New York is the oldest and largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the world. The Parade celebrates everything Irish and it starts from 44th Street and 5th Avenue at 11.00am, before travelling up 5th Avenue to 79th Street. Millions of spectators come to cheer on the Parade and enjoy a pint of Guinness or two in the many Irish bars in Manhattan.
Extend your stay with a couple of nights to include this brilliant experience. Our hotel is in easy walking distance from the Parade so you can watch and enjoy, have a few drinks and be close to your hotel afterwards. We offer hotel stays for 3, 4 or 5 nights and single, twin, double, triple and quad rooms are all available.
