2022 Vuelta a Espana Hospitality

Vuelta Start Utrecht

The start of any Grand Tour, especially when it is in such a nice place as Utrecht, is an excellent excuse for a city break. It's very easy to get to as the hotel can be reached within 45 minutes from Amsterdam Airport. We've selected a conveniently located hotel which is available for 2, 3 or 4 nights. We also offer a selection of excellent hospitality experiences on all 3 stages.

Start Village

In the Vuelta Start Village, you'll enjoy an open bar. Get a great view of the riders as they sign on and prepare for the race. Wander by the team buses and the warm up paddocks and admire the bikes on show. Great opportunity for photos and autographs.

Finish Hospitality

Available on every stage, you will have access to the finish hospitality with elevated viewing platform. Watch the stage on TV and enjoy the finale live. Enjoy the catering all afternoon and toast the winner with a glass of Champagne.

Car Experience

The ultimate experience. Your driver meets you at the start village and you're on the course for the day. Your day finishes at the finish hospitality area. Select stages offer the option to add a 20 minute helicopter trip.

Vuelta a Espana Tours with Destination Sport Experiences

Basque Country and Asturias - Mon 22nd - Mon 29th

Basque fans will gather in large numbers along the roads to watch the peloton ride past. Bilbao takes centre stage. After the climb of Pico Jano, in the Principality of Asturias, there are 2 pure mountain finish-lines: a new one (Colláu Fancuaya), and a well-known one (Les Praeres).

Andalusia – Wed 31st Aug to Mon 5th Sep

In Andalusia, a new race milestone will take place. It will be the first time in 87 years that the race visits all Andalusian provinces. Andalusia will also offer a first-level mountainous triptych: Peñas Blancas, La Pandera and Sierra Nevada

The Final Week - Wed 7th - Mon 12th Sep

The last week is sure to provoke strong emotions. First, in Extremadura, with two unprecedented high-altitude finales, before arriving in the Autonomous Community of Madrid. This is where our tour will follow the final stages. The second-last stage is very reminiscent of the one in La Vuelta 15 where Fabio Aru took the Red Jersey from Tom Dumoulin.

Madrid Final Weekend - Sun 11th Sep

Watch the riders of the Vuelta a Espana on the final stage of the 2022 Vuelta in Madrid. We offer 1 or 2 nights at our Madrid city centre hotel within walking distance of all the action. On Sunday book our hospitality near the finish line. You'll see the winner being crowned as well as the closing ceremony.
